About
A journal about life along the road, and the drives that keep it alive.
“Flat” is the flat life: the 9-to-5, the same commute, the ordinary weeks I live.
“Miles” is the road. Every trip adds distance to the car, the same way every year adds distance to a life.
“Flat Miles” is a flat road: no climbs, no switchbacks, no big view at the top. A boring stretch, just like most of life, and that’s the point.
This is where I keep the trips I take, the photographs I make along the way, and the thoughts that turn up on long drives. The site grows when I go somewhere and stays quiet when I don’t.
If a page looks unfinished, it probably is. Come back later.
